The Enthusiastic Musician’s Orchestra is a swinging modern 16 piece band that has the bluster and bombast of a classic big band plus the subtlety and refinement of a modern jazz orchestra. With Internationally renowned saxophonist Dale Barlow (who refined his musical skills as a member of USA legendary jazz ensembles including Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and the Cedar Walton Quartet) EMO will deliver a musical feast of original works by Brisbane’s leading jazz composers and Danish saxophonist/composer Lars Moller. Since 2008 EMO has been providing a dynamic vehicle for Brisbane musicians, composers, and arrangers to create new work.
